Lone Sound Magazine
Art Director
Lone Sound Magazine, Dallas, TX
2019–Present
With live music as a bridge to other contemporary voices and subcultures, Lone Sound highlights the work of photographers, writers, performers, producers, and artists that redefine “Texas music” and “Texas culture”—and join a deeply rooted tradition of diverse musical heritage.
Lone Sound is a bi-lingual print publication thoughtfully composed of original content, from photo editorials and in-depth interviews to personal narratives and illustrations.
The Lone Sound Podcast is in its second season and features exclusive interviews, candid conversations, and fresh perspectives from artists, creatives, mentors, and music lovers shaping modern culture – both in Texas and around the world.
As Art Director, I develop visual concepts for the brand, including the layout of the magazine, build brand style standards, create all print and web assets, design merch, design business and marketing materials such as the media kit, business plan, and pitch deck, as well as manage design interns.
