First in a series, this LED Pyramid was designed to create an architectural focal point that draws people together for gatherings from day into night. Sound-reactive programming illuminates the more than 500 individually addressed LEDs to the sound of the party soundtrack. Weatherproof aluminum channels were inlaid within each beam to maintain an integrated profile and protect the light strips. The structure stands 9’6” in height and spans nearly 11” in diameter. The wood beams are red cedar allowing for outdoor use year-round and are staked into the grass for safety.
Realizing the angles at which the beams joined at the apex…and figuring out how to cut them was a process all its own.
